Craniosacral therapy invites healing through connection in a co-regulated relational field.

In connection, with a felt sense of safety, we access the larger health that holds each of us.  Here, your mind-body rediscovers sensing at every level, without overwhelm.

You may well find a wholeness and more ease in the world, your life, and your relationships.

PRESENCE  •  AWARENESS  •  SPACE HOLDING  •  CO-REGULATION

I had multiple cranio sessions with Ri and each was dynamic. All the sessions were clearly good for my body mind and spirit. The form is potent and Ri's ability to be present and facilitate is transformative. In one kind of cosmic session, I felt energetic connections way beyond my body;  another was more emotional with a good healing cry.  The most recent left me feeling more peaceful and content than I can remember.

Biodynamic craniosacral therapy (BCST) and somatic therapy are modalities that support your body to heal itself from its infinite wisdom. In my practice, I often work with intentions — the client's and also my own — which helps create a wise, safe, and impactful container for our sessions.

Craniosacral therapy

Biodynamic craniosacral therapy is typically light touch bodywork, always with clothes-on, gentle. The touch, however, is optional. It depends completely on the client's comfort with, willingness, and readiness to receive touch.

In this practice, you, the client, are empowered to choose the experience that best supports your comfort and well-being. Your empowerment itself may be part of your journey.

Through the presence and guidance of the practioner, biodynamic craniosacral therpay and somatic coaching invite your tissues (muscles and fascia) to relax, your fluids (cerebral spinal fluid especially) to flow, and the health that is always present in your system to remember itself.

Somatic coaching

With somatic coaching, I include spoken words to support client's connection with their body and its wisdom. Through verbal prompts, at a pace slow enough for real listening, we collaborate on spacious noticing. My intention is always to be with whatever is occurring with open curiosity, without judgement.

Sensing with presence, spaciousness and a slow pace may give you more capacity to allow your old patterns. And that allowing may invite the old patterns to unwind or transform.

You can learn many of the tools of somatic coaching to practice yourself (or with loved ones) outside of sessions.

Somatic coaching, called Blueprint Resonance by Anna Chitty, brings the relational field to meditation practices usually done solo. It relates to and has evolved from many different modalities, including Hakomi, the Diamond Approach and Sufiism, Open Focus, Focusing, and Zen (poison pool and koans).
